GoNxt AI asks for location permission because live navigation cannot work without it. Positions are processed in your browser or app on the device. When you tap Use my location, start Live GPS or send a driver report, the relevant coordinates are transmitted to the services below to obtain a route, an address, nearby places or to place your report. You can revoke location permission at any time in your browser or Android settings; the app then works in preview mode only.
Requests are made directly from your device to these providers under their own privacy terms. Only the data needed for that request is sent (coordinates, a search query, or your truck dimensions for truck routing).

When you report a hazard, our server (gonxtai.com) stores the report type, its coordinates, the time and, if you add one, a short note. To limit spam and let drivers confirm or clear reports, we also store a one-way hash derived from your network address — not the address itself. Reports expire automatically after about three hours (longer if other drivers confirm them) and are deleted once several drivers mark them clear. Reports are shown to other drivers nearby without any identifier.
To make the app work offline and remember your choices, it keeps some data in your browser's local storage and cache: saved trips, offline map tiles, your route preferences (avoid tolls, units), your truck profile, whether you have seen the welcome tour, and unsent reports waiting for a connection. This never leaves your device and is removed when you clear the site's data or uninstall the app.
Voice guidance uses your device's built-in speech engine; nothing is recorded. The optional Bluetooth companion feature sends trip figures (speed, ETA, next turn) to a display you explicitly pair. The screen-awake request only keeps the display on during live navigation.
GoNxt AI is a general-audience navigation tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
